The Role

A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated Radiographer for a permanent part-time – 12 month term position with a willingness to share on-call, including weekends and a flexibility of hours in relation to daily workloads.

The Norwest Private Hospital Angiography Unit and Hybrid theatre provides the latest in interventional cardiology, structural cardiology and EP studies, vascular and radiology procedures to the community. We work closely with highly skilled cardiologists, vascular surgeons and radiologists to provide the best care for patients. We have a great group of professional and friendly nurses and radiographers that works harmoniously as a team to deliver quality patient care. 

Our labs have been updated in 2018 and 2019 (Siemens and Philips Hybrid) providing state of the art technology throughout our facility.

 

 

 

As a Radiographer your responsibilities will include:

  • Radiation safety
  • Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up
  • Procedural documentation
  • Haemodynamic monitoring for patient (training will be provided)  

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA - Radiographer
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a qualified radiographer
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • NSW EPA licence
