A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated Radiographer to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital on a Part-time basis, working 3 days per week; with a willingness to share on-call, including weekends and a flexibility of hours in relation to daily workloads.

As a Radiographer your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the perioperative team on a variety of procedures and casemix
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up
  • Procedural documentation
  • Haemodynamic monitoring for patient (training will be provided)
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation License
  • Radiation Safety
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required
  • ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience (desirable)
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
