About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Afterhours Receptionist with excellent communication, time management skills and attention to detail to work at our main reception desk at Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital.
We are offering approximately 3 – 15 hours on a flexible roster with the option of covering sick and annual leave.
Shifts involved are Weekdays 16.30pm -19.30pm / Weekends 09.00am – 14.00pm
About us:
Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital is a private, 64 bed Rehabilitation hospital which prides itself on a high standard of patient care. Located in Hove, near Brighton/Glenelg, we offer both in-patient and day patient therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing quality patient and customer service
Answering and directing phone calls
Admitting and discharging after hours patients
Directing patients, visitors and contractors to designated locations
Typing doctor discharge summaries and medication profiles
Filing and sorting medical records
Weekend statistical data input
Essential Criteria:
Customer service experience
Receptionist experience preferred
Effective communication and organisational skills
Ability to work individually and as a team member
Experience with computerised patient management system and data entry beneficial
Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
