As an Anaesthetic Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver evidence based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members, graduates and students
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their surgery and health recovery
About Us
Peninsula Private Hospital is a 62-bed facility located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, providing Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation services with an expanding Perioperative Department. The hospital is undergoing significant growth, including expansion of theatres and commissioning of a new High Dependency Unit in late 2026.

Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA or relevant governing body
- Previous Anaesthetic Nursing experience
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
Remuneration: If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope-Queensland-Nurses Enterprise Agreement" (salaries range between $36.74/hr - $52.97/hr for Enrolled & Registered Nurses)
