Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new and exciting position?

Holmesglen Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Department on a full time basis working from a rotational roster.

The Hospital includes; 147 beds across 5 Wards providing Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation Services, combined Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Department, 7 Operating Suites, Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission and Day Infusion/Oncology Services.

As a Registered Nurse (Surgical) your responsibilities will include:

·       Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care

·       Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care.

·       Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

·       Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes

·       Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

·       Act as a role model for Safe Practice 

Essential Criteria:

·       Minimum 2 years’ Registered Nursing in an acute surgical environment

·       Working with Children check

·       Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent

·       Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

·       Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (Desirable)

·       Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·       Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement

·       Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Healthscope-Victoria-Nurses’ and Midwives Agreement 2021-2025” (salaries range between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour).
