Lady Davidson Private is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our supportive established nursing team.

  • Permanent full-time role
  • Ability to work 24/7 across a rotating roster including weekends and nights
  • North Turramurra location

 About us:

Set on the edge of the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park, Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia, specialising in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation. The hospital is affiliated as a teaching hospital with Sydney and Macquarie Universities.

Lady Davidson offers a friendly and supportive staff environment with a strong commitment to the provision of excellence in the delivery of care. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital, based in North Turramurra, has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.

Responsibilities:

We have some fantastic positions vacant for Registered Nurses with 3 plus years’ experience looking for their next career opportunity. Bringing your multiple years of experience into our team you will focus on:

  • Provide evidenced based nursing care whilst liaise with our multi-disciplinary team 
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care 
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
  • Ensure patient and staff safety

Essential Criteria: 

  • Current Registration with AHPRA 
  • Provision of required compliance documentation – evidence of work rights within Australia, Working with Children check, Police check, Serology and immunisation evidence
  • Rehab nursing experience (desired)
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care and compliance with ACQSHC National standards 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Works well independently and within a team

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope – NSW Health Professionals & Support Services - Agreement 2023, with a salary ranging from $35.46- $49.79 per hour.
