Senior Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical and Rehab Wards

Fulltime or Part-time positions available

Darwin Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team on our Medical/Surgical and Rehab Wards. 

 Key Duties and responsibilities will include:

·           Utilizing a structured approach carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients

·           Implement planned evidence-based nursing interventions within your scope of practice

·           Demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and procedures and management of patients seeking outstanding care

·           Supervise, direct and guide junior nursing team members

·           Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into service provision

·           Maintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practices

·           Complies with organizational policies, procedures and guideline 

Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. Essential Criteria

·           Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

·           Authority to Work in Australia

·           Able to commence asap

·           Minimum 3 years nursing experience on a medical/surgical or rehab ward

·           Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills

·           Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

·           Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and the Darwin Private Hospital - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2021-2024 ($37.79 - $50.97 per hour)
