The Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in your career? Join our supportive and highly skilled team in our 22‑bed Acute Medical Ward, where your expertise and dedication truly make a difference.
At Norwest Private Hospital, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient‑centred care. Our ward primarily supports acute general medical, respiratory and end‑of‑life patients, with most presentations arriving through our Emergency Department. What you’ll be doing
- Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes
- Promote patient and staff safety at all times
- Lead, mentor and support ENs and AINs in delivering excellent care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families throughout recovery, rehabilitation or end‑of‑life care
What we’re looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ years’ experience as a Registered nurse
- Clinical experience in acute medical, respiratory or cardiac nursing
- Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- A compassionate, patient‑centred approach
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Intermediate computer skills
- Leadership skills are highly regarded

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $39.09 - $54.89 per hour.
