The Opportunity
Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care?
The Mount Private Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses in a full / part time or casual pool basis for our Anaesthetics & Recovery (PACU) Unit.
Key functions include
Established and maintained positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Provide exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care
Provide supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates and students
Worked as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team, managed own work time and personal well-being
Involved in clinical and compliance auditing
About you
Minimum of 2 years’ full time Anaesthetic and/or Recovery (PACU) experience or equivalent;
Current registration with AHPRA;
Compliance with NSQHS National standards;
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills;
Work well independently and within a team.
Desirable Criteria:
Postgraduate studies i.e. Graduate Certificate in Anaesthetics or equivalent.

The Mount Private Hospital is situated in a desirable inner-city location with low-cost parking included for our staff. Our services include three Cardiac Catheter Laboratories, ten Theatres including a true Hybrid theatre able to perform a multitude of highly complex procedures.
Surgical specialties include cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, plastics, and ENT.
