Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse! We’re looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Cardiac/CCU team (Ward 11) on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members
  • Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care
  • Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
  • Serve as a role model for safe practices

Essential Criteria:

 

·       Authority to Work in Australia

·       Minimum 12 months experience as an RN in an acute setting

·       Cardiac experience highly regarded

·       Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent

·       Current unrestricted AHPRA registration

·       Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·       Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care

·       Self-motivated team player

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proactive, customer-focused approach

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Queensland - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $41.49 and $52.97 per hour + superannuation)
