Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Newcastle Private Hospital is currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse’s to join our close-knit, friendly and hardworking Angiography & Cardiac Catheter Lab team on a full-time basis for 2025 starts.
This role will provide an opportunity to work with a progressive and dynamic team of Cardiologists, with close collaboration and cross skilling opportunities with the staff of the CCU.
You would be available to work within a flexible work environment, whilst being committed to providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment.
As a Registered Nurse – Cath Lab your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Collaborate with the CCU team on post procedural care for patients undergoing coronary angiograms, pacemakers, vascular procedures and more
- Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 4 years’ clinical experience in a acute Cath lab setting
- Valid NSW Working with Children check
- Bachelor of Nursing (Or equivalent)
- Postgraduate certificate in critical care, cardiac nursing or interventional cardiology is highly desirable
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Valid Australian work rights
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses’ and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024" (salaries range between $35.46 and $49.79 per hour).
