About the role
As a Registered Nurse working within our Cath labs, you will be a part of a supportive team that operate across our three theatres, covering Cardiac, Vascular and Electrophysiology procedures.
In this role your duties will include:
- Coordinate and provide safe, efficient and effective evidenced based nursing care
- Supervise, direct, guide and mentor our nursing team nursing team members
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure beneficial outcomes for all patients
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Essential Criteria:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Prior nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Cardiac experience and a desire to learn!
- Experience with angiography procedures
- Ability to establish professional relations with internal and external stakeholders
- An ability to communicate with influence to achieve results
- Commitment to enabling a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to be meet on call requirements within short notice

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Queensland - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $41.49 and $52.97 per hour + superannuation)
