Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward 5 East Coronary Care Unit. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

As a Registered Nurse – CCU, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- At least 2 years’ experience as Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, HDU or CCU settings
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards_ is desirable
- Clinical experience in an ICU/CCU environment
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
