Campbelltown Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Team on a full time and casual basis. You will play a key role within a caring and supportive team in ensuring high levels of pre and post- operative care patient care is provided.

Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown.  Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 15 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit.  We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care 
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria:

  •          Authority to Work in Australia
  •          Working with Children check (if relevant)
  •          Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  •          Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
  •          Demonstrated experience across Day surgery, Admissions, Procedure Rooms, Recovery and Discharge
  •          Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  •          Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  •          Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  •          Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
  • Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
