As a Registered Nurse or Midwife your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

We specialise in Mental Health Services including general psychiatry, older persons and early parenting support as well as Obstetrics and surgical services.
Northpark’s Early Parenting Unit was established in 1997, and formerly known as the Mother Baby Unit. The unit has a long-standing reputation for service excellence providing individualised care, and the name change was delivered to align with the diversity amongst families welcomed on the Unit.
The Early Parenting Unit offers both outpatient day programs as well as a residential inpatient stay for families who require support following the arrival of a new baby and throughout their first year.Our unit is staffed by a highly qualified team of: Paediatricians; Psychiatrists; Midwives; Nurses; Psychologists, and Social Workers who have extensive experience supporting families and their infants.
We are seeking multiple nurses or midwives to take on permanent and casual Registered Nurse/Midwife positions available.
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
