We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Recovery nurse to join our team!
Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in our local area It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone.

The Interventional Suite accommodates adult & paediatrics patients for planned & unplanned procedures &/or surgery. It comprises of 14 state of the art operating theatres including a Hybrid theatre & a Cardiothoracic theatre; 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs, 4 procedure rooms, 41 bed recovery unit, Anaesthetics Service and state of the art Sterilising Services Department. The service currently operates 7 days, 06:00 to 21:00hrs.
You will bring to our high performing team:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Post Graduate Certificate in peri operative (or working towards)
- Understanding of the ACCORN standards and infection control
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Peri-operative nursing as Recovery/Anaesthetic Nurse
- Time management skills, initiative, collegiality, teamwork, and collaboration
- Previous experience within a private hospital setting will be well regarded
- Flexibility with shift allocations, timing plus on call during the week and on call on days off.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 -$49.79 per hour.
