We are excited to be expanding our procedural areas of Operating Theatre, Day Procedure Centre, Emergency Department and a dedicated plastic surgery ward.  All opening in February 2020.

Our state of the art equipment includes Spyfy technology to support our vascular surgical specialty, Mako robotic navigation system, da Vinci robotics with plans to expand  our robotic service.


Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered and Enrolled Nurses for their Scrub/Scout teams. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver evidence based nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety

Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility  , providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including a twenty four hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.  The hospital is growing to 13 operating theatres, 1 hybrid theatres plus 2 dedicated Endoscopy suites and a brand new Day Procedure Complex, which offer a broad range of specialities including Cardiac, Neuro, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Laparoscopic, Colorectal, Vascular, Hepatobiliary, Maxillofacial, ophthalmology and General Surgery. Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
  • Working with Children check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills
