RN - Cardiorespiratory Pathways Program

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to transition to Cardiorespiratory care. This is a permanent role offering a 12 month program within our Cardiorespiratory ward and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) – Ward 4B.
You will be supported by the Cardiology Clinical nurse Consultant and Cardio/respiratory nurse Educator to ensure that you meet all objectives within the program. You will be given protected teaching time, protected observational time in Cardiac Cath Labs and Theatres, supported Coronary Care experience, tasks/ assessments and competencies to complete.
Essential Criteria:
· AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
· Must be Registered Nurse Year 2 or greater
· Must work full-time for the duration of the program (12 months)
· Must have endorsement from existing Nurse Unit Manager
· Must have completed a New Graduate Program (does not have to have been at NBH)
· A strong commitment to your own professional development
· All Mandatory Training requirements up to date
