Hobart Private Hospital is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. Hobart Private Hospital provides Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery and Endoscopy.
Hobart Private Hospital is seeking senior nurses to join our Medical Ward to help shape not only what high quality patient care looks like on our wards, but also what a rewarding nursing career looks like for our more junior nurses. We are committed to providing development opportunities for our senior nurses who might be looking to move into education or ward/hospital management.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide evidence based care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and support your team members to deliver family centred care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their care
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills
