Student Facilitator
Student and Graduate Nurse Facilitator – Maternity leave cover 12 months

About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced educator to support our graduate nurses throughout the hospital and offer support and guidance to student nurses on rotation.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Your duties will include
· Supporting all students on placements.
· Liaising with local universities and accredited training providers.
· Supporting and managing our preceptor model.
· Supporting Graduate Nurses throughout the hospital.
· Orientating Student and Graduate Nurses
Essential Criteria:
· Bachelor of Nursing
· 3-5 Years clinical experience – Both surgical and medical
· Current AHPRA registration
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Commitment to working in a team environment and leading a positive culture
· Outstanding customer service skills and professional presentation
· Cert IV in Workplace training & assessment or working towards
