Knox Private Hospital has a vacancy for a Supply Officer to join their busy team of professionals. We offer a supportive atmosphere, with flexible hours and an extensive education program so you get to grow in your role and achieve work-life balance.

As a Supply Officer your responsibilities will include:

Reporting directly to the Supply Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of hospital wards and other areas within the hospital. The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.

Knox Private Hospital is the largest private hospital in the eastern and south eastern corridor of Melbourne. We operate over 250 patient beds, 11 theatres, a 24-hour Emergency Department, an on-site medical team, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, a 10 bed Coronary Care Unit and a Day Procedure Unit. We offer a broad range of acute services, with over 25 specialty areas and are leaders in cardiac and general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, plastics and vascular surgery.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience with a computerised purchasing system (i.e. Technology One - preferred)
  • Ability to work within constraints of a set financial budget
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proven time management and problem solving ability
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a similar hospital based role (preferred)
  • Medical product knowledge (preferred)
