Support Service Manager- Melbourne Private

 

About us 
Melbourne Private Hospital is a 122-bed high acuity facilityco-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including cardiac, neurosurgery, robotics, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery. These services are supported by 3 wards, a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Support Services Manager, to join our team on a full-time basis.

Enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate proven experience in a leadership role, a commitment to patient care and customer service are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities:

You will be required to provide leadership to our support services teams services whilst delivering a high standard of service to our patients, staff and guests

Responsibilities will include:

·       

·       Team Leadership and Management

·       Operational oversight

·       Reporting and Compliance

·       Quality and infection control

·       Risk Management

·       Stakeholder collaboration

·       Staff engagement


Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

·       Previous Leadership experience in a similar capacity, ideally from a hospital or in the hospitality sectors

·       Previous experience with a computerised rostering system (i.e. Kronos etc).

·       Highly developed customer service skills

·       Flexibility and adaptability

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Extensive cleaning knowledge in all surface elements

·       Knowledge of OHS and Infection control procedures

·       Demonstrated ability to train and upskill staff.
