At Healthscope we realise how hard you’ve studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre provides specialist inpatient and day rehabilitation services to help patients get back to functioning at their best after an illness, injury or surgery.

We provide high quality and patient-focused care for a wide range of conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, and trauma rehabilitation.

We also offer pain management and a state-of-the-art sleep unit. Our caring team of specialist doctors, allied health professionals and rehabilitation nurses provide effective and individually tailored programs designed to help you get back to what matters.

Registered Nurses at Healthscope perform a wide range of activities in pursuit of delivering a high quality patient experience. Every day is different and may include assessing patients, administering medications, providing wound care and educating patients and their families about health conditions. You will need to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, advocate for your patients and provide support to patients and their families. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
