Our Ward Clerks provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve work-life balance and a dynamic career in Healthcare.
Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited acute private hospital located in Wantirna. The services provided include Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, ICU/CCU, Cardiology, Medical, Day Unit and a twenty-four-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent patient facing customer service
- Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
- Manage clerical and administrative responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records
- Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care under the supervision of Nurse Unit Managers
- Working across all wards within the hospital
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital
- Demonstrated knowledge with prosthetic billing an advantage
- Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - 7-day rotating rosters
