We have exciting opportunities for highly motivated and skilled GP Medical Centre Practice Manager on a part time basis.

The Northern Beaches Medical Centre Practice Manager supports the clinical lead in providing operational direction and business development within the GP Medical Centre. The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing all administrative aspects of running a general practice, including patient attendance and billing for relevant patients of the Northern Beaches Hospital Medical Centre. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Operational management of the medical centre including day-to-day management as well as longer term projects, for example, re-accreditation
  • Create and manage rosters for administration, nursing & medical practitioners
  • Grow the GP practice, and seek opportunities to help with hospital demand management 
  • Providing accurate and timely financial reporting across the medical centre practice
  • The manager must work closely with the clinical lead, emergency department and local primary healthcare services to provide integrated care and service to the Northern Beaches local community. 

As an experienced practice or business manager you will bring to our team:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Diploma of Practice Management or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a GP practice manager
  • Experience with Best Practice software
  • Experience with Medicare Billings, Workcover & DVA essential
  • Demonstrated leadership, planning and organisational skills
  • Exceptional customer service delivery skills with the desire to provide quality support
